"I am writing this letter to thank you for providing us with the most exceptional customer service we have ever experienced in Holly Davies. Back in 2010, we went off of COBRA and Holly helped us set up a group account. She was so easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable throughout the entire process. I recently went on Medicare and was so relieved to find that Holly was still with KaiserQuotes.com and we could get her to guide us during this change. She took charge and guided us successfully through every step of the way, helping me go on Medicare, my Wife on a new personal plan, and then cancelling the group plan we originally set up. Of all the things you do in life, your health insurance is one of the most important things you do. It is really scary trying to sort out what you should be doing. Holly made the entire process so simple and always gave me the feeling we could trust what she was telling us to do. She is a pleasure to work with.Throughout my career, I have managed large Customer Service organizations in the Computer and Optical Disc industries. In my last position, I had over 300 customer service representatives worldwide. I do know what good Customer Service should be. I must say that without a doubt, Holly is the best I have ever had the pleasure to work with. “I went to Santa Clara emergency on Oct. 19 for pain in my left leg and lower back. After 4 hours, during which I was given a cat scan, I was diagnosed as sciatica. The cat scan was totally unnecessary and, I was told, had the effect of 500 chest x-rays. I've had sleepless nights worrying about the harm of all this radiation. “I grew up on Kaiser and am disappointed in what has happened to Kaiser and the medical insurance that is offered. I don’t have $5000 just sitting in the bank. I am healthy, and I feel [that] not just Kaiser, all the insurance companies, take advantage of that. The companies take my premium and then when I do need it, I get penalized. “I just had the pleasure of getting some wonderful assistance. This was going to be my last attempt of looking into Kaiser for medical coverage. The first time I was totally given the runaround - and just gave up because I never heard anything back from the first rep. This time I was connected to the person with HONEST answers to my questions, which saved me a lot of time and headaches. Just through this chat I can tell she is a dedicated employee, and she too does not like to be given the shuffle when she’s looking for her own answers and does not allow the consumer to receive the shuffle either. She was open and honest in answering all my questions. She chatted as a live person, not an employee hitting the "macro" buttons. She answered in her own words; nothing of the conversation felt "scripted" - she was genuine in her words. She didn’t just leave me out in the cold. She suggested other roads to look into. “I just spoke with one of your customer service people. I just want to say that she did an excellent job in helping me understand all the terminology and everything about insurance. I really appreciated her patience and her explanations. My daughter got turned down though. That was very disappointing because she is a healthy young woman. She had gone in for poison oak, and Kaiser didn’t approve her because of her potential future susceptibility to poison oak and her BMI being too high. While she’s on the heavier side, her average resting heart rate is 54. When she went into the emergency room, it was down to 48. They said it’s because she’s a swimmer.
